Frodsham & District Photographic Society celebrated its 50th Anniversary on Monday, 16th March.  This period has seen the progression from black and white printing in a home darkroom to colour printing, digital cameras and projected images.

More than 40 Members and old friends met together in our venue at Castle Park Arts Centre over supper and a cake into which President Hazel Bell made the first ceremonial cut.  Brian and Christine Lloyd were special guests on this occasion.

Brian’s talk on ‘The History of Comedy’ was both amusing and enchanting.

As part of this special year the Society will be visiting York and organising an international exchange of images with a Club in Virginia. Membership runs at around the 50 mark.
